  • The 28th Annual Feeding the 5000 Families Campaign in Pocatello is April 12, from 5:30 pm - 7:30 PM at the LDS Caldwell Park Building on the 700 block of E. Lewis Street in Pocatello. McKenzie speaks with Jolene Barnett Stephens and Kia Shaw about this community collaboration. There is a meal provided by local faith communities and meaningful conversations about food insecurity.
  • Roy Ayers was a visionary composer, musician, bandleader, vibraphonist, and vocalist. He forged a powerful and unique blend of jazz, funk, R&B, rap, and soul that was all his own. His music was brilliant, sounded amazing, and grooved like crazy. He died at the age of 84 in March of 2025.
  • The deadline for applications is coming up on May 2 to apply for Sage Grouse Action Team grant funds from the Idaho Governor’s Office of Species Conservation OSC). Funds for successful applications will be available by July 1, 2025.
